Founder of Magic Carpet Studios, one of Africa’s leading animation, gaming, and digital storytelling studios, Ferdy is dedicated to creating authentic African narratives that resonate on the global stage. Through Magic Carpet Studio’s groundbreaking work, he has helped redefine the African animation industry and advanced the continent’s presence in global creative economies. The studio has collaborated with world-class brands including Cartoon Network, Triggerfish, and Microsoft Xbox, earning multiple international awards and recognition for excellence in storytelling and innovation.

Ferdy is a Ford Foundation inductee, selected in 2010 to help design a strategic 50-year blueprint for Nigeria’s future. His contributions have earned him numerous honors, including The Future Awards (Nigeria’s Best 100), MIPAD Class of 2021, and recognition as a 2024 Emmy Awards Member nominee.

He also serves on the board of Slum2School Africa, a leading non-profit focused on expanding access to quality education for children living in remote and underserved communities across Nigeria.

As a spiritual leader, Ferdy is the Founder of The Tribe, a vibrant movement dedicated to helping people rediscover identity, purpose, and spiritual clarity. He is also the Curator of the Creative Nigeria Project, a non-profit initiative championing the intersection of art, culture, innovation, and social advocacy.

A recognized voice in the fields of creative economy, leadership, and African innovation, Ferdy has authored several books and publications and hosts the thought-provoking N.O.W, The Ferdy Adimefe Podcast, where he explores culture, creativity, leadership, and spiritual intelligence.
